As the land of Faenaria begins to warm with hints of spring, love and friendship flow through the air! That means Valentine's Day is here!! With the day dedicated to those wonderful feelings finally here, we have to celebrate with a yearly tradition! It's time for the 3rd Annual Faenaria Valentine's Gala!!

This year, we're celebrating all things love with a fun event! This one is a bit different than the past two years! This year, we really wanted to highlight the feelings for whatever we like and love in our lives: others in our life, a warm spring day, a good book, whatever you want! We want to hear!

This year is a raffle for two grand prizes, one for members and one for staff! We're doing a CYO of a Chocolate Box, a classic Faenaria held item that's been around for a LONG time! How do you enter this raffle, you say? It's quite simple! You share something, someone, anything that you like or love! You can share once a day for one entry into the raffle, every day for the whole event! We will then draw two names, one from the members and one from the staff! There will also be consolation prizes in 5,000 Wish Shards every entry post, and those will be sent out when the event ends!!

This event starts on Valentine's Day, February 14th, and it runs to February 22nd! The winners will be announced on February 23rd, and winners will be asked to make a post in the CYO Orders forum to get their order started. The consolation prizes will also be sent out that day!

I shall start by sharing my love to my girlfriend 💕
We met roughly 12.5 years ago when I was at my lowest (depression is a downwards spiral if there's no help), and I'm pretty sure without her I wouldn't be in this world anymore.
Last year, she finally came out to her parents (who were surprisingly cool about it), and this year, we'll move together. It's about frigging time!

For my first entry, allow me to declare my love for chocolate cake! Stopped by a café today and had a piece, very good. The world is better with chocolate cake in it

I am thankful and still very much in love with my fiance.
We've been together for 14 years, since we were 16 years old, and next year we'll finally getting married!!

I've been waiting for years now but things in our life have postponed it.
Until we finally said this is the year we're doing it.

I would like to start with sharing my love for my daughter. She is the love of my life. She's growing up way to fast. She's in college studying art. She has went thru a very rough time recently, she broke up with her girlfriend and she told me this morning that she feels better than she has in a long time. She sees a therapist every week and this morning she came out of the office with a smile on her face. It almost made me want to cry, it made my heart so light to see her happy.

Wow... that was quite a bit of sharing there...

Anyway, I hope everyone is having (has had) a wonderful valentine's day.

For my first entry (unfortunately a day late) I am in here going along with ladylark lol - the love of my life is and will ever be my child Born 1991 we lived together for 18 years (I am a single mom), then he moved away with his girlfriend to study and lives in Berlin now, married to her for a few years now Whenever we see each other it still feels as if a missing part of myself is back. We always were able to talk and talk and talk (even when he was in puberty lol) and still have no problems to talk for hours I wished he would live closer, so we could see us more often...

Belated Happy VD to everyone, no matter if with or without a "Valentine" I f. e. have none (and am happy being single), but there is always so much going on with online and MMO events, that I wouldn't wanna miss that day lol.

New day, more love! Today I'm giving a shout out to Harry Potter. Been a fan all along, following the releases, diving in and binge reading the moment I got my hands on a new book. Now it's such a comfort series to me, I revisit it quite regularly, and enjoy it every time.

My first love is nature, I enjoy it so much!
I love to walk or bike outside en look at all the beauty nature gives.

I adore my children! I have three of them and they no longer live with me. It feels like a big chunk of me is missing since they moved out. My daughter Melissa will be 28 on 3/16 and I can't wait to get together for her birthday!!!

I'm so enjoying hearing about everyone's loves!

My second day of love will have to be for my job. I work in a library. I have always wanted to work in a library. I spent many afternoons my senior year of high school walking to my local public library. That is what made that place my haven.

I don't work at the one that I walked to all those years ago, but I've been at the one I'm at now for a bit over 2 years now, and have loved every bit of it.

It doesn't pay much(less than a dollar over minimum wage, I work in the back and am a part-time supervisor), but I love what I do. I may have to go out and find a second job at some point, but all is good right now.

For the 2nd day, I want to share my love for my 2 cats Furballs of awesome playfulness and cuddlety!

Today I'm sharing my calligraphy and lettering love. I spent many years admiring calligraphy before finally reaching the "you know what, I'm gonna try to actually learn this"-point, but I'm glad I got there in the end anyway. While there is definitely frustration involved when my skills are insufficient, and I can't make something look exactly like it does in my head, it is very satisfying to look back on old work and see that there has still been progress

I am sharing my love for everything SPACE today lol - it fascinates me endlessly. I follow NASA and ESA (and others), I watch science documentations on TV, I love all the little probes on Mars, I loved Rosetta and Philae so much, I am always so excited about new missions like the latest, Solar Orbiter on its way to the sun. I truly wished I could get reborn some years into the future (again and again) to follow mankind going universe I might be still alive to see the first people on Mars, but who knows...^^

Ah, so she's into broad edge calligraphy! I haven't touched that yet, but there are plenty of excellent options, so it's on my never ending to-do list

Thirdly, I shall declare my love for sushi! Mostly totally non-Japanese sake (aka salmon) nigiri, as well as unagi (eel) nigiri. Those fancy little omelet nigiris are also tasty, as well as a veriety of other things on the sushi conveyor belt! 🍣 🍣 🍣

Third day will be my love for reading. Kind of ties into my love for my job, but it's there.

I don't have as much time to read now as u used to, but any chance I get.

My best friend and roommate has been my rock for years. I love her like crazy!
