Welcome, Faenarians, to our monthly avatar contest!

We've decided to call the contest FAD, but we hope it becomes much more than that! It may change a bit from month to month (or maybe sooner, who knows what interest we may get) just like fads do, but hey, it's boring being the same all the time, right? Anyway, I hope this is something you all will enjoy just like we will seeing all your creativity.

• Follow all TOS and site rules.
• Submit avatar designs using our Fae Avatars (for more detail on the FA, read the FAQ)
• Please, make a new post if you add more entries and I have updated, I don't want to miss any entries.
• You can only join from your main account, no mules or ninjas.
• There is a maximum of 3 avatar entries per person!
• No CYO items (custom items you made or were made for you by a site artist), please.
• Preview only items are allowed, as everyone can use the Market system to use those.
• Entries will be accepted from now until June 28th @ 5:00PM FaeTime. (that's the time on the clock in the bar at the top).
• Winner will be announced on July 1st!
• Have fun!


• You do not need to own the items to join, just use the Market dressing system.
• Please, host your images on postimages.org or another site that allows you to post an image on another site.
• Staff, and the previous winner will be judging this avatar contest.
• If you win first place, you can not participate in the following month's contest.
• Avatars can be entered from previous rounds if they did not place at all.


First place gets:
• 25,000 WS.
• 10 DS.
• Your choice of Essence. - Floral Essence, Butterfly Essence, Winter Essence, Fairytale Essence, or Vintage Essence.
• The opportunity to judge the following contest along with staff.
• Have their winning avatar placed on the main page until the following month.

Participants get:
• 2,000 WS.

If there are enough entries for more places....

Second place gets:
• 10,000 WS

Third places gets:
• 5,000 WS

and maybe more!

Nope, we don't do themes anymore. With themes we seemed to not get as many entries. This way, you can have a theme if you want (and usually it tends to happen around holidays anyway), or just do whatever you want. ^^ Let the creativity flow!

@weezee - btw. I was not able to move the bubbles behind the body and the floor even with moving front and back layer aaaaalll the way down, makes that one middle bubble stuck under her dress now^^ Not sure if that can be changed? Oh and decorating is still a pain for me o.O due to criss-cross scrolling the left and right part. I don't know if technically possible, but could it not be just so that layer moving is independent from the right part with the shop items?

Bubbles are a foreground item, so they aren't meant to go under things, they are for in front of everything.

and it is independent from the shop/closet items. You just need to be more towards the left/middle to move layers for it to not cause the right scroll to move.

Fog, Rain and Snow come in both versions, would it be possible to do the same for the Bubbles even though they're not technically weather?
