WOW! Super nice! That's amazing!

I didn't see or hear any trick or treaters around. Our light was off so I wasn't expecting any, but we also just didn't have anyone on our street it seems. Then again it was a cruddy, rainy night.

I had two. I wasn't expecting any but the neighbor girl drug her brother over cause 'you always have the best treats'... not sure if it was a bribe for more or what. lol. I gave her a handful though... couldn't resist those big cute eyes.

We had only a light drizzle, not enough to stop anybody! And it was warm today, which was probably super helpful. Its supposed to be cold and nasty and wet the rest of the week, so thank you universe for nice weather for the holiday. =D

We did a rotten egg raffle along with the trunk r treat.
Me: I see adults who need to draw in the Rotten Egg Raffle!
Adults: Rotten eggs? Uhm... (they completely forgot the raffle part at the end of that phrase)
Me: Oh I'm not allowed real rotten eggs, I am an evil nerd after all. But there is green glitter in them to make up for it!
Adults: Oh, cool! (laughs embarrassingly)
Kids: I want an egg!
Me: Sorry, this is for the adults, like Mommy and Daddy or aunt or uncles. But my sister has your table right next to me with toys and candy!
Adults: Awesome, go to your table, this one's mine!

That's just one of the ways I'd get them to come over. I almost lost my voice that night, I had to make up for a lack of a sign because of the darn wind.

Halloween didn't turn out very well for my county. Even the mom's group for my area were commenting on the lack of trick or treaters this year

We went to one of the nearby malls and walked around, getting some candy from the stores but we'd arrived 15 minutes before the event was to end so some of the stores had run out of candy. So...well hey at least I was able to dress up my daughter for her first Halloween in a deer costume and she looked adorable. Other than that, it kinda sucked. Hopefully next year is better!

edit: oh yeah! and I got three free bath bombs from one of the stores so that was awesome.

I really do love this look! It feels like a modern take on a Witchy look, and it looks great! The color scheme is so neon and vivid, and it works great in this case! Love it!

In Third Place, we have Dragongirl!

A classic witch! I really love the color combination, and the animal companions make it so fun! The purple background with the white moon is stunning! So good!

In Second Place, we have Sam!

A great look! The black and red theme just works so well! I also love the fog covering part of the Lion, giving it a mysterious feel, almost like a cat of shadows!

And in first, we have Okirin!

I absolutely love this look! The monochromatic colors are just so contrasting! The whole look feels sophisticated, like an experienced sorceress who knows her craft!! Even the little hair clip just ties it all together! Amazing work!
