yay for remaking avatars then! i named my dragons on DragonCave this morning.

I'm making a tunsian crochet cowl right now, and i have a tunisian crochet blanket in progress, as well as an Alot amigurumi.

LMBO I used to feel that way in RL, til I realized how many people liked to stare at feet. But even back then I've always liked putting the strangest shoes I could on my dolls.

Had an apartment full of pot smoke again last night. I could barely breathe. And when I went downstairs the smoke was so thick outside the neighbour's door that the floor started rocking. Now I have a headache.

HOWEVER. I also have fizzy pick vitamin C pills that dissolve into water to make fizzy, and this is something I've loved since I was a child. I have a live stream to watch. I have dolls to hug. And there's no smoke right now.

I may not have coherency, though. heh

I'm depressed. I finally figured out why I feel so cruddy. But depression doesn't last forever.

Speaking of the lunar new year, we had peeps with booths and stuff upstairs at the market today. And dragon dancers. When the dancers first started banging their cymbals it was so loud and so sudden that I made like a baby quail, and then had to find a quiet corner to go hide in! I usually am unaffected by those cymbals, I guess it was because they were inside this time.

Feeling a little bit better. Also just cut up a red curry pumpkin that was slightly furry on the bum and the inside, fried it good, and then put tomato sauce, a little spice, and some chicken cocktail sausages with it. That pumpkin wound up tasting and feeling like aged Cheddar, only without the richness that leads to tummy aches!

so last week, hubby went back to the east part of the state (PA) to go to a hockey game with older daughter on sunday, had dinner with sister-inlaw and nephew on Monday, had dinner with older daughter and mom on tuesday, and came home wednesday night. thursday afternoon, mom calls and says she tested positive for covid. O_o
hubby tested friday, but seemed to think he did it wrong, because he had some cold-like symptoms. a retest saturday night said he was positive. O_o
i tested saturday shortly after hubby, and was negative. same for monday around lunchtime. i have a little tickle in the back of my throat, I'm a little stuffy, but my antihistamine helped with that a little bit. I'll test again tomorrow around lunchtime again, and I'm crossing everything i can that the result is negative again!

Aaaaaaack! Oh man! @trystan I'm not even going to start on the rant I was going to go on! A damaged amazon thing is nothing compared to bringing that home.

anyway, i did test positive on Wednesday the 1st, but i work from home Mon-Thurs, and was scheduled off Friday and Saturday, so the manager only had to take me off of today. my next scheduled day isn't until this coming Saturday, so I'll test again friday. if I'm still positive, I'll wear a mask. *sigh*

In better news, we've finally closed on the house we've been trying to buy since October.
