Luv, what did you end up doing?

Basically I ended up with a whole bunch of different shapes cut out all over my table. And glitter. I just couldn't pull any one design together so I scrapped the whole thing and bought cards instead. But I'm already planning this year's cards so hopefully they will be done early.

;_; Where is everyone lately?? I'm lonely.

Still not much happening on the arts and crafts front. I miss doing my artwork.

I'm here. I'm bored. I can't pull my blanket out to keep working on because my toddler WILL steal my crochet hook (she's done it before and I didn't find it for months).

I have a friend who has a similar problem with her knitting needles, only it's her cat that steals them. There should be a way to tether the hooks/needles to the project somehow. I'll be darned if I know how though. I don't need any help losing things. I do quite well on my own, thank you. -_-

Well, I guess it would depend on what you're comfortable doing. What kinds of arts/crafts have you done before?

Knitted newborn items for Janeway, crochet sewing knitting rope making, pillows, blankets, clothing, drawing, sand art, pottery (If I can find my pottery wheel and some good clay) back when I was younger so anything really which is why I'm stuck on ideas

WOW!!! You have a pottery wheel??!! I are so jealous!! That's something I've been really interested in learning. I wanted to take ceramics in college, but my history classes were always at the same time as ceramics. Since I was a history major I couldn't really skip over a history class.

That's a lot of options to choose from. I would imagine that she'd like pretty much anything you did, though.

She is picky and she isn't girly so I'm lost If I can find it I got it when I was 14 taught myself I use to belong to a club that use to do crafts and donate the profit to charity or used the funds to make suppers and stuffs for the elderly or to travel, was a nice gig

Maybe a pair of fingerless gloves? I have a couple pairs that I really like. They don't have to be girly and they're useful.

Hmm maybe she rarely wears gloves she is so picky I want something big to do but I'm nervous about if shes gonna like it

I did a little bit on my mini album over the weekend. I started it weeks ago and have been doing a little bit at a time. I want to be able to do a little in my art journal every night, but it hasn't happened so far.

Koeke, does it get cold where you are?? What about one of those fleecy blankets with a pocket for your feet?

I'm in Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada so it gets real cold that is a great idea Just need to order in the materials ^^
What kind of art do you do?

Eheh, mostly I dabble in whatever strikes my fancy. I guess just about all of it falls under mixed media or paper arts. I make mini books and albums, collage, assemblage and stuff like that.

Oh nice, I use to do origami for a bit but mostly birds, forgotten how to do the little jumping frogs

I can do the crane, but that is the only origami that I can do with any 'expertise'. I can follow patterns from books and stuff though.
