Trying to decide if I want to do Camp Nanowrimo this year. Though I do have some plans in July so I'm hesitant.

Ah, I see! Well, you can leave your team again if you decide you want to go solo, so there's no problem trying out a team to see if you like it ^^

I can't believe July is almost upon us, Dragongirl! I was planning on doing camp, but there's so little time left and I have no plan at all. And I know I'm going to be delayed getting started. We're having guests part of the time too, so that's bound to interrupt writing .. Still, I didn't do the previous camp, so I feel I should probably give it a go this time!

I've had a week of summer, very much ready for cooler weather xD I'd miss being able to go swimming (not that I've gone quite yet xD) but I don't like wearing anything other than long jeans.

I wasn't sure how easy it was to change teams on War Dragons, but there seems to be hundreds of them.....

I found it rather troublesome to find a new team to switch to, Ashean, as I think their filter and search options are far from ideal. And as you say, there are so many teams. But once you've found something, switching is no problem at all. Definitely just go for it if you're curious ^^ And congrats on upping your level!

Summer started with a vengeance in my neck of the woods - triple digits. And not even able to use a swimming pool

Whoops! I've been doing the werk-werk-werk-all-day since Wednesday, so haven't had much time or energy to check this! xD

@Kiran - You can get five flames regardless of who you take on! The only thing that matters is using one dragon. So purposefully go for a lower level player you KNOW you can take down. And as a side note, you can actually keep on attacking that person until you get five flames, you just can't change your attack for that war. (I didn't even know this until my team leader mentioned it...)

@Ashean - Being on a team is definitely worth it for me! My teammates have helped me on harder attacks, and by joining their attacks against much bigger bases, I got more XP for my dragons and sometimes, resources. Plus, they've transferred me resources on multiple occasions, which is definitely a timesaver. As you go through the levels, your dragons consume MUCH more food in able to level up. Those greedy dragons, tsk tsk ~

I'd much rather endure the heat than freeze my butt, fingers and toes off in the winter!

I'd love to do Camp, but I've had writer's block for what feels like forever... and even before that, I never really perfected my story writing skills to a point where I was happy with them, so it's all just kind of depressing...

Oooh, it's definitely a comfort knowing I can try again if the first attempt doesn't go terribly well, Rider! As for food, I usually have enough of that, it is the XP itself that is holding me back. So frustrating trying to build up my team when it's going so sloooow! (Okay, so I'm also really shy about inviting my team to join when I'm trying to level rubbish dragons that I know will be taken down by the base in no time, I hate to feel like I'm holding people back and letting them do all the work, so I'm sure I could progress faster if I could just make myself hit that button )

I'm right there with you with the writer's block. I'm generally far more excited about the "proper" NaNo in November than the camps, but I've struggled even with that the last couple of times. I'd like to get back to enjoying the process though, and I don't think this block is going to solve itself, so it's probably worth it to push ahead and see what happens

I rarely go out. Until I get new job. Then I'm gonna roast.

The biggest pain with the dragons right now is trying to level up the new ones x.x
And teams seem really active, or dead. And several want 5 flame attacks. I'm trying to train dragons, 5 flames aren't gonna work......

Ugh, yeah, training new dragons are such a pain. Be warned that some dragons are really not worth your time, so just get them to breeding level and them put them in reserve!

@Ashean - Go for a really easy base! Invite your teammates! Unless you've got an inactive team I've been fortunate that I found a team that's active enough for me, but not too hardcore. xD

I've been slowly making my way through the new season of America's Got Talent. Man, I love this show so much. The first act was a chicken playing the piano. xD

I think I might have to move into the freezer at temperatures like that, Ashean. So not built for that And new dragons is definitely a pain, I totally agree. Just when I'm so satisfied with myself for having managed to train up one, it's time to start the process aall over again

It has definitely occurred to me to leave some of the dragons behind, I don't want to waste lots of time on those that don't really seem worth it, but it annoys that part of me that wants to perfect everything. Gonna have to give myself a stern talking to about that, so I can keep moving forwards!

Still haven't found a team I'm happy with. And I tend to look for easy bases to start with - not that those are easily found anymore.
I have favorite dragons to use which are all level 8+ so remembering to swap some out doesn't work well. xD

My area is going to have a break from triple digits according to the weather forecasters, but still 90's x.x

I can relate, to wether eeks, It's in the 90s-100s where I am.

It hasn't been so bad where I'm at. Decent 70's, low 80's some days. Oh my, 90-degree weather is not pleasant whatsoever. >.< So sweaty and humid and ugh... I'd just wanna stay inside all day (even though that's what I do anyways )

There comes to a point when you notice that a dragon does absolutely nothing against a base and dies right away, and that's when you know to retire it. xD I know your struggle Ashean, for awhile it seemed like I could never find manageable bases, but then I think my dragons just improved and I started being able to take down the bases the game offered me with. Sometimes I just went to the team search function and tapped on a random team just to find a more manageable player's base to attack.

Weather wise its dry heat out in Western USA. I've tried OH summers and spent a few summer days in Georgia. Ohio is the easiest, but xD I was in the middle of nowhere riding a horse every chance I got.

Today has been worst day for training, maxed out wood and have almost no food. >.< And two dragons that still need to be trained.

Today was a decent day for me, as I joined a higher level teammates attacks and got my dragons some decent XP. I don't normally attack bases by myself anymore because it's honestly really disheartening to see how little XP my dragons gain without any help.

I haven't been doing that well in this lumber event, oops! I'm not really concerned though... I'm just really excited to hatch Drakius.

I'm kinda trying to do event, but all my towers are like 4+ hours and ugh
For some reason my dragons have multipliers on their exp... and yeah sometimes it don't seem to do squat.
I was in one team and someone invited me to a 'better' team..... not sure that was my best idea but they have more people.
