~Upon closer inspection, the weirdo known only as "Skittle" has eyes that don't seem to focus on what they're attempting to pay attention to. They are paying much more attention to the sounds and smells of the manor, which includes incoherently babbling about Sunny's purring. And letting Sunny chew on their hand. They don't seem bothered by it, somehow. It's probably fine.

"Don't worry, Ms. Sunny's Owner! I'm great with venomous creatures, so I can entertain this sweet baby while you work on whatever mystery thing you're making!"

~They then take off one of their many necklaces, and attempt to use it as a toy for Sunny to play with. Hopefully it's durable.~

~Her eyes study the individual as they interact with Sunny, a warm smile on her face as she continues to weave, a soft whirring coming from the well-oiled spinning wheel the spindle is attached to. ~

That's good to hear! Manticore venom is certainly potent if you get pricked, I have an antidote of course, but it's always nice to avoid the incident in the first place. Usually I keep Sunny away from any new visitors, but he just had to come see what all the noise was about in the front room. Oh, and please, call me Myra. I'll have some fresh pumpkin cookies in the next few minutes and the cauldron over there is just about ready if you'd like a taste. It's my own special recipe that warms you right up and gives enough energy for more adventures in our wonderful village!

~With her spell finished for this batch of thread, she resumes her humming. It takes a few seconds, but the tune begins to sound familiar...now where was it heard? It sounds like a slow lullaby.~

~As the third day rolls around, you can see this woman's spirits have not changed. Her smile is still there and her eyes sparkle with excitement as she sweeps into the back room of her home, returning moments later carrying a folded pile of clothing that shifts colors every few seconds. This time you're still surprised that she's managed to change her appearance as well as her outfit, but not as much as yesterday. Maybe she has some kind of potion that alters her looks...or maybe she isn't fully human.~ I have vests I made at the last minute that would look perfect with the other things I've given out already! Also, don't forget to explore the village further, as I and my colleagues will be giving out new treats with the next toll of the midnight bell.

~Out of the corner of your eye you see a cauldron bubbling quietly and look on in confusion. Wasn't it a light purple yesterday? And the concoction inside it was white...maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you. Your attention is brought back to the Manor's hostess as you hear a playful growling coming from behind her. She giggles as a baby manticore is revealed, biting down on the staff she's chosen to carry today and shaking its head back and forth, trying to gnaw through the wood. It sees you and instantly lets go, making a beeline for your feet where it rubs up against you, the growling becoming more like a rumbling purr as it asks for pets. ~This day, as you visit the stacked building, you notice she's more prepared than usual. Just inside the front door, a large table has been set up with all manner of items organized into neat sections. You can see a bunch of sturdy looking belts, a ton of keys, flasks, pouches, test tubes, and a stack of papers with what look to be instructions on what each item is and how to use it properly to concoct your own potions. Her black and brown hair, along with the piercing blue eyes are only given a few extra seconds of scrutiny before you just brush it off as being part of her quirkiness. You wonder what she'll say if you comment on the daily changes.~
There are a lot of things today so make sure to look over the paper and of course, be extra careful with the glass. The belts have compartments and ties to hold everything so if you need the extra time to put your belt together, you can come over to my sitting room where you'll have all the time you need.
~She waves a hand to her right, towards what looks like a cozy area with plenty of mismatched sofas to rest your weary feet and partake of the snacks she'd set up in the middle of the room.~
Oh and don't forget to scoop up some of my cauldron drink to help warm and energize you for your journeys through the village!
~Next to the happily bubbling cauldron is a small table with cups and lids you can take on the go, and a large ladle for distributing the liquid. Today, it's a shimmering green, similar to the little head peeking out from behind the blue container...a kitsori that seems to have made its way over here from another of the houses. It chitters shyly when it notices you looking at it, then bounds about the room, the manticore named Sunny happily giving chase throughout the building.~
I and my colleagues will be giving out new treats with the next toll of the midnight bell so don't forget to visit everyone!
