Tricksie slithers by, a little droopy today. You contemplate asking her what's wrong. You reach out hesitantly and take a breath to speak when she randomly turns your way. Her bottom "lip" quivers before she rushes toward you and latches on to you. She starts crying hysterically. "Oo oooo oooo ooo oo oo!!!!!" You get the distinct impression that she doesn't want you to leave this strange little town. You awkwardly pat her freezing cold shoulder before she suddenly stops crying. "Uh oh..." you think to yourself. Tricksie stares up at you with her large black portals. "Oo oooo!" She jumps in the air and then floats down on you, enveloping you in her Gain fresh goodness. You're tempted to stop and enjoy the fresh clean scent but then you realize "Oh my gosh...I'm INSIDE Tricksie!!!" You start running around to and fro but stop suddenly as you hear a voice in your ear, "We're just alike now!" WTF WAS THAT TRICKSIE'S VOICE?! What are you going to do now?!

Today as you come into the house and approach the cauldron you see that it's a little different. It's still bubbling and frothing a glistening gold, but there seems to be less of it than on previous days. It's as though there was only ever as much in the cauldron as there needed to be. "Don't be sad," say Fortuna and Gilda together, "all good things must come to an end. And who knows, perhaps you'll see us again."

You reach into the gloopy, liquid gold, so used to the sensation by now that you almost don't notice it anymore. You pull out...
