Yeah mobility, and that I don't have to take the bus if my mom can't drive me. I got a thing where I've got a hard time being with a lot of people in one place. So getting my license would definelty free me to go to other places I want to visit easier, and let my mom just sit in the other car seat, coz of her back, and just let me drive her around for a change.

I wasn't too excited at first cuz it just felt like it was just something necessary I had to do. I mean, I do like not having to depend on anyone... much. I mean, I still have to a bit cuz my mom can't drive right now, and if I want to go to work I have to depend on my aunt sometimes to take her to appts until she can drive again. What made me get my license? necessity. My mom was going into the hospital for surgery and my friend who I got a ride with every day to work was going out of town. With mom not being able to take me, and my friend gone... how do I get to work? So.....there ya go. But I also had to be ready. If I hadn't of felt comfortable driving I would still be waiting. For the longest time it was just the thought of having to parallel park. Then, I was told I wouldn't have to, BUT I DID HAVE TO! Tho I did it, but I was so freaked out. LOL Luckily when they do test you for that they only let 1 car be there... cuz had there been one behind me I'd have smoooooshed it!

Mobility is nice, and honestly, without sounding very selfish... I really need that atm. Having to take care of my mom has become a lot, so when I do get to leave and be alone, it's nice. That sounds horrible I know, but

And the where I can reach more easily? Everywhere, but work is the most important one.

One thing I do like is being able to take my girls with me. :3 We went for a few rides recently and while they can be a pain, I think once we go more often, they'll get where to stay and be nice companions to ride with.

And you are NOT selfish for wanting to take a little time for yourself where you can do it. So try not to think that about your needs and wants. You are a good person from what I've read all these years Zee. I myself live with my mom, and sometimes we really need to have time to ourselves. I can get real crabby some times and she can too. Most often this time is where she goes to the cottage and I stay at home, getting to have the whole apartment for a week or so by myself. Which is glorious. So if you feel good about getting that time in the car for yourself please do not think badly of yourself. If anything I am so very spoiled and do not even realise it. So thank you for putting some things in perspective.

I think you and the girls will have many fun times with the car driving around to places in the future.

Sorry for being MIA for like a week, my sweet girl got sick and then our plumbing being messed up... and just everything else I've just not felt like being any kind of social or even really had time TO be social. But Abby is better, thank goodness, and the plumbing is too. So I have some free time to actually relax a bit. :3 Plus Mom is getting around better on her own so I'm not having to do everything now... just most of it.

I was just feeling bad cuz mom needed me and I felt like I just needed to get away... >_< I guess it was just all too much and too overwhelming. I mean, I've never been one to be READY to go back to work... and I was... >_< LOL

*walks in with fresh cookies but before putting them down she blows the dust off the table and sneezes* Oh my! We need some cleaning...

I hope everyone has been doing well?? I've been extremely busy. I've done lots of outside work and then just recently painted my mom's bathroom and her bedroom. Her bathroom was a pale green *puking face* and her bedroom was an off white and tan color, both are now grey! :3

Well, normally, Nic, the tan and off-white one I'd agree with, but that green was like baby poop green and it was awful. The off-white/tan was like off-white bg with tan sponge splotches? or some weird crap... Personally, I'd have went for a lighter grey, nearly white, but hey.. it's not my bedroom/bathroom. My bedroom and bathroom are grey-ish purple. I still love it to bits even if it's hard to find bedspreads that work. I mean, purple being my fave it is hard to not pick purple bedspreads, but unless it's the perfect shade it clashes soooo much.

LOL That's fair. When you said pale green I was thinking more like a mint green. And admittedly, any sponge splotches are a bad idea LOL

Sadly I'm renting so I can't paint my room. It's yellowy beige and I hate it LOL

That's true, I do have a ton of wall art, but I'm ambivalent about most of it, so if I put it up, the few pieces I have that I really like would get lost in the chaos. So I just suffer with the crappy color. I've been here 4 years now, so I've kinda gotten used to it

Well, look at it this way, Nic, at least it's not some awful color. For me that color would be pale pink, not sure what you hate the most!

When I was younger, I got lots of double sided tape and cut up pictures and made a huge collage on my wall!

That's cool! When I was a preteen, I cut apart old calendars and put the pictures up, so I had one wall that was just a giant mosaic of picture of puppies, kittens, and lightning storms LOL And another wall that was Star Wars pictures from a coloring book

Mine were pictures that I had taken of family and friends. I think I still have all those cut out pictures somewhere.

I had some roommates once with walls straight off of pintrest. They were gorgeous but the effort made my brain hurt. Nowadays I just have my greyish walls, colorful furniture, and the giant asexual pride flag in the living room.
