Same with shoes! I hate buying shoes too! LOL I should actually wear a 10 1/2 and they have like NONE in that size, so I have to go up a size and it sucks so much!

SHOES ARE THE WORST. If you're up in 10-11s in womens you might actually be better off with mens shoes (very preference dependent). but for me, I have wide feet so I went from like a 10-11 in womens to an 8-8.5 in mens which is actually a "normal" (actually in the store) size. Doesn't work for everything but for tennishoes it works great.

I've gotten mens shoes before, but when I did it was like only 9 or 9 1/2 (I think) for sneakers as long as I like the look I don't care if they are mens or womens.

That sounds like the normal conversion Weezee. (My feet are probably more like a womens 9-10 wide/extra wide but good luck finding those in a store and feet are all so unique I personally think it would be a terrible idea to do shoe shopping online) so I almost always wear 11s.

Yeah, I have crazy wide feet too.. they don't seem all that long, just wide. >.>

Sooo... news! Hoping to go within the next few days to try to get my license (yes, 36 and no license yet)! Going tomorrow to schedule an appt, but depends when they have open and such... rather NEED to have them before the week of the 25th so send good vibes my way PLZ?!?!?!

(The only reason i got a license when I did is because my mom made me, probably a net positive but driving is a lot sometimes because other people aren’t predictable)

I didn't get my license until I was 21, my parents couldn't afford the insurance for me, so I had to wait. Took a lot of public transportation.

Good luck on your test, zee! Don't let them trick you! They'll give you answer options to some questions that are in-practice safer than the actual answer they want

I love driving a car (license since I was 18 - earlier wasn't possible in Germany that time), and the colleague with whom I'm driving to work and back home every day is certainly not complaining. Only back-seat passengers sometimes complain about how dynamically I take the curves

I am getting more paranoid as I'm getting older. I used to love to drive now every time I go out I'm watching my speedometer because I don't want to get a ticket.

I hope you nail it! And I'd say I can't suck too much as a driver since I've never been ticketed but I think that has more to do with how rarely I drive. I've had a car for more than half a year now and driven it across the country and it still has less than 5000 miles on it . I am already at 22 the stereotype of the little old lady who only drives it to the grocery store on weekends (if anyone read Matlida growing up her slimy used car salesman father told that story to sell cars whose odometers had simply been "driven backwards" with a drill in reverse) which is why I find that sterotype funny due to the not so subtle implication that people who do that don't exist and anyone who tells you otherwise is swindling you.

Most importantly, relax. If you're too tense, you tend to pay attention to details that currently do not matter.
So have a good breakfast, then get in the car, take a deep breath and focus on yourself, the car as an extension to yourself, and the road.
It's pretty much the same with the written test. Be calm, focus.

Just a quick note on when I took my road test, a lot of people failed where we took the test because there was a sidewalk and a stop sign at the road. You needed to stop at BOTH the sidewalk first, and then the stop sign or it was an automatic failure.

oh wow. That's a lot Aleah. My driving school when we went to pick up the certificate that said I had taken and passed the class and done the required number of supervised driving hours (I think it was somewhere around 9 I don't remember) also handed us a signed form that said I had passed a driving test which was news to me. I guess whenever the last time I did practice driving was they checked the test things? (that or they didn't check at all, they did go out of business relatively soon after that) ...

I've already done the written test, the paper I got showing my appt, said so, so that's one less worry, right? I just hope it's a woman cuz men make me extra nervous. o.o BUT I will do it! I can do it! .... I hope.
