@Yeladim , I remember the happy times, but it makes the big hole where he isn't feel even bigger! He was always there, we texted at least a corny joke nearly every day. When I saw old cars I could text and tell him about them, and when I was scared or got stuck somewhere because of sensory stuff he would rescue me, even if it was just by calling me and talking to me as I made my way home.

yeladim - that's a great way to look at it. I'm also a positive person as well. being angry and sad uses just too much energy,

Walked to the chiropractor today. Had on enough clothes to be warm, but wound up feeling trapped in them and had a minor panic attack that kind of borked the rest of the day. Plus, the city hasn't sanded the streets, so every crossing was scary.

Also crocheted more on BatCat, and again ran afoul of slipstitches. And invisible closing of the row, which didn't work, and is very visible. o_O

Yeladim - yes... yes i am.

Tam - sometimes my invisible stitches aren't always invisible. unless you can see it from space, i'd just move along with the project. I'm not the best at slip stitches either. they're always too tight.

I gave up on trying to make the invisible close off, @trystan. Just started back with doing what I know, which is a lot more invisible than the invisible one. Man, I've had so much frustration with this pattern, but I'm pretty certain I'm going to love the doll when she's done. And I've found myself a little better than usual at counting rows. I'm pretty sure I have her eyes and eyebrows in the right place!

Didn't crochet today. It's pretty much white out outside, so it's too dark in here to see to do the small stitches.

i'm almost done a rainbow blanket i'm working on, and then I'm making a blanket a friend asked me to make for her.

@Yeladim No. It's just a matter of me not being able to count rows and stitches very well, so my dolls don't always have the nicest faces.

And yes, yes it is! I never expected the product of that mushroom sprite pattern to be so popular! This order isn't even the only one I've got ongoing right now. I'm trying to keep myself from getting burnt out.

In other news, today I got stoned. Because a new neighbour in this supposedly smoke free building won't stop filling my apartment with cannabis smoke. And I'm ALLERGIC to cannabis.

Really sick today from the smoke, which is still coming in, but which is the regular stink instead of the one they had yesterday. Head, lungs, and guts all unhappy.

In other news it RAINED today. About a week after it being -41C. I'm praying I don't slip and fall, because it's rained all day, and it's going to be skating weather out there. I don't have cleats.

BUT, I added yet another shroombaby to the army of minions that shall take over the world one hug and kindness at a time!

so -41C is the same as -41F. and that's !@#$%^&* COLD. i honestly have no idea HOW cold that really is. yikes.
stay safe if you have to go out there, i have a pair of ice skates in my trunk if you want.

Tomorrow is supposed to feel like plus 4C. And today already it was so warm there was standing water in places. And deep slush puddles that my feet got into. I wore a comfortable skirt and some truck roared past and splashed it. Now I'm not sure what to wear tomorrow. Between the ice and the slush puddles, it's WEIRD.
