We are actually only short 1 seat to have 14 people be able to sit... and really if 2 people sit in my recliner (it's HUGE so it's not like they would be really squished), we have exactly 14 spots in our living room/kitchen/dining area, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have to hold their plates to their faces and eat rather than have them on a table of some sort....

I got a question for you, maybe you know. Nearly every time I log on I see 3 - 7 "guests" on the site. Do we really have that many unregistered lurkers here or is something else going on?

I am pretty sure it's bots. We need a programmer to update (at least I assume that's what is needing done I don't know) that so it takes the newer ones out. I'm not sure how to do it.

I really don't understand why people think they're luck. They make a mess of our garage when the "move in".
Hi weezee. Looking forward to the holidays? It's just three of us this year so last year we got a turkey thigh, plus all the "fixins". This year we can't even special order one from our grocery store. It's a whole bird or nothing.

I'm excited for Thanksgiving. I have family coming home (it's a cousin who I feel more is like my brother than cousin and his boys) that I haven't seen in years since they moved to Oklahoma. They are even staying with us! They are like the only family we have that actually wanna stay with us. :3 Just 3 weeks ago or maybe a bit longer, I was thinking it was just going to be my mom and I for Thanksgiving, and now there are 14 of us! Only 3 are staying here (maybe 2 not sure on the 3rd person). I AM SO EXCITED! :3 It probably doesn't help that we (my mom and I) just got over covid (still have the stuffiness and smell and taste aren't completely back), and it sucked being stuck for 2 weeks able to do nothing. It's one thing if you CHOOSE to stay home and do nothing for 2 weeks, but when you're sick and then start feeling better and HAVE to stay home.... IT SUCKS!

So glad you and your Mom are feeling better. You two are probably the safest to visit since you have the best immunity, although that is a regrettable way to get it. The shot is so much better than getting sick.
And it is wonderful that you are having so many people over. That is a house-full. Have you made taste-testing plans in case your taste hasn't come back yet? (Honestly, it's for taste, not for poison.)

I won't get into shot or no shot thoughts, but thanks. We are feeling so much better.
We are only having 3 here, but everyone is going to my aunts for Thanksgiving. She has the much bigger house. We live in a rather small place (we have 3 bedrooms but the only one that's decent size is mine). Our house is about 1000 sq ft hers is more on the 2000+ It's the right size for us, but not for many extras
As for taste, I'm slowly getting my taste and smell back. My mom on the other hand, I don't think can smell or taste much, tho, she couldn't really even before covid so I don't know if hers will come back. We only have to make/take deviled eggs and either I can taste test or when my cousins get here they can. Deviled eggs is what we've taken for many many years (everyone brings a dish or 2 (we also gave my aunt 2 pumpkin pies for her to cook the day before)) because they love our eggs. We usually take way more than we think we'll need, but rarely do we ever bring any back home.

Well, my cousins aren't coming. They don't have the money to buy gas here and back, so they are going to start saving now so they have it to come home for Christmas. I think that's a better time to come anyway, he has more days off and so do I! Plus, he'll be here for his birthday!
Still made deviled eggs, and I do hope they taste ok... I have some of my taste back but not completely, so I'm hoping it's not awful for everyone else... LOL Gonna say it's my tastes fault if they are bad! :3 We sent over 2 pumpkin pies and a turkey, so I think we gave enough for our part!
