re: Pinesole, I can't use it. While I like pine smell, it doesn't smell "right" to me and just gives me a headache.

The main thing I'm worried about is that delivery people won't want to come here anymore, @Yeladim .

Awww. That's too bad. It works so well for cleaning. I grew up with the scent, so it's comforting. Though I still don't take straight out of the bottle sniffs.

*looks at the doll* The stains look a lot fainter now. I wonder if light can be fading them? Or if my eyes are just not focusing properly again. lol

How're you doing? How's the weather where you're to? It's kind of hot and muggyish in the apartment here, and we just had a nice rain.

it's getting warm here now. but then again, it IS mid-May, and that's about when summer starts here in PA. it goes all the way until like October some years. ugh. i can has Fall now?

I wore summer clothes outside today, and it worked. And I've got the fan on me now. I seem to remember the last few years getting warm this early before. But then I can remember some days in some recent WINTERs when I was walking around outside in shirt sleeves. Nuuuu Fall yet. Gotta have zucchini season first.

Nuuuu Fall yet. Gotta have zucchini season first.

We grew zucchini in our garden for a couple of years. Pick them often and early. Leave them on the vine even 2 extra days and they grow as big as my arm.

It is drizzly and overcast here today. Drove my son and his stuff down from Davis, CA over the weekend. 20-25 mph gusts made us take a 3 hour rest to make sure we weren't blown off the road. Soo tired now after not getting in and unpacking until nearly 4 on Sunday.

*nearly falls asleep on thread that looks so comphy*

But, @Yeladim , they still taste good when they're huge! And especially when fried and put in a sammich.

I have to confess that I dislike the new kickstarter rewards to the point that I'd avoid donating so that I wouldn't have to have them.

Which reminds me. Does anyone want the witch and wizard sets? A dear friend donated for me without finding out that I don't care for the theme, and I would rather someone have them who would like them than me continuing to give them guilty looks as they take up space in my inventory.

@Demyx @trystan Man, I remember when 'Toy Story' first came out on tape. I had to watch that dang thing at least five times in two days. I got to where I was ready to scream at the sight of one or other sibling proudly taking out their new tape (two different ones who lived in the same apartment had bought it).

It's even better when fried over a camp fire, and put into corn griddle bread with a fried egg or two.

i should mention that said daughter watched Sleeping Beauty and Monsters Inc enough times that we (hubby and I) could recite those movies in our sleep.

however, many many years later, I do still like those movies.

@trystan , now I'm reminded of my one younger sister's infant obsession with an easy reader Cinderella book we had. I can still quote the opening lines of that book, about thirty years later.
